Orthopaedic Medicine

Orthopaedic Medicine is the non-surgical branch of Orthopaedic Surgery, dealing with painful arthritic conditions of the joints of the arms and legs when surgery is not necessary or not possible. Its tools are joint and soft tissue injections with steroid anti-inflammatories, joint lubricants and, more recently biological products.
