Physical therapy encompasses a large number of therapies through posture, movement, exercise, physical modalities and manual therapy. These are provided by Physiotherapists and also a number of non-medical practitioners from the Complementary & Alternative Medicine field.
Chiropractic and Acupuncture are Complementary & Alternative Medicine therapies, for treating painful conditions of the spine, like neck pain, upper and lower back pain. The tools are spinal manipulation procedures (known as Spinal Adjustments) and dry needling of soft tissues (known as Acupuncture).
Rehabilitation is a complex treatment program involving a range of therapies in order to return to normal or near normal functioning after injuries or chronic illness.
